Hair Inspriation & Hair Care

As of late I've been obsessed with two things:

Whitney Port

&

Any hair that looks like Whitney Port's hair

Currently infatuated with these heads of hair:

 PERFECTION!!!

From the above photos I don't think you can tell I like long hair with loose waves in caramel/blonde...

NAHT!

When going to a hairdresser is always best to use photos as a guide. I always show heaps of hair inspiration and explain what I want thoroughly. The hairdressers want you to be happy! So make sure you do this and hopefully you will never be dissapointed :)

To get hair with the best shine and best possible colour it's always important to look after your hair properly. At the moment I am taking a Biotin supplement 5000mcg (mine's by Nature's Way). Bioton can be taken as a supplement to help hair skin and nails. I've found that it has really helped the strength of my hair and am noticing less breakage overall.

As I colour my hair regularly, I use a leave in conditioner after everytime I shower. At the moment I am using a cheap Pantene serum as I was finding Argon oils were too heavy for my hair, any recommendations on light leave in conditioners that are extrememly hydrating will be greatly appreciated!

I also use a purple shampoo to ensure my blonde hair doesn't turn brassy. I usually mix my shampoo and two pumps of purple shampoo, which seems to do the trick!

Let me know you're current 'holy grail' hair products!

Top 5 Beauty Gurus

It all started when I stumbled across a video by xxtigresxx

"Neutral Cut Crease, Liner and Lash tutorial"

Cut crease?!? Liner AND lash??!

and really, the rest is history...

after witnessing the artistry, precision and technique her videos , I became obsessed with learning the art of the ol' cut crease and became fascinated with the potential that makeup truly possessed

*Side note STILL have not mastered the cut crease - WOTEVA H8RS.

But within a few days I was exposed into the world of the 'Youtube Beauty Community'. My mind was flooded with a magical place where any AND every beauty related product has been tried, reviewed, praised, hated, loved, smelt and tasted. Yes, tasted.

Within the few years Ive been watching these gals (and sometimes guys) I've truly built up trust in their opinions and views on products. It is really the best way to find out information before purchasing makeup (especially high end) and learn how to be great at using it.

So without further or do... My TOP 5 BEAUTY GURUS: (xxtigressxx is not included.. sorry babe).

5. Carli Bybel

Possibly one of the prettiest girls in the universe. Seriously. Such a kind hearted and elegant girl, who knows the exact techniques to enhance her big eyes and huge lips. One of my favorite things about her videos is the introductions with  the cute (but sometimes corny) quotes. Definitely worth a subscribe.

4. SML xo

A down to earth guru who has great technique. I don't think she has had any makeup training, but has really developed her style and image through the Youtube community. I have used so many products because of her recommendations (favorite one being fake bake flawless =  seriously thebomb.com)

3. Chloe Morello

Yay to Australian beauty gurus. At first to be honest I cringed every time I heard an Australian accent on youtube. Really unsure as to why, but I did. So don't judge me!?

Chloe explains everything she does so clearly and simply it makes it really easier to imitate and understand what she does. Plus her boyfriend is super sexy and appears in a few videos. Get on dat.

2. Lauren Curtis

Another Australian! Yay! Lauren has really similar taste in makeup to me, so I really enjoy watching her videos. Her tutorials are AMAHZING. Seriously she does the best glittery/smoky/sexy eye EVAH. Plus shes a extremely perfect (which is a bit annoying but.. what can ya do!). 100% worth a subscribe.

ANNNNNDDDDDD FINNNAALLLLYYY...

1. Nicole Guerriero

This girl! Where do I start. Not only is she extremely, EXTREMELY funny and down to earth, she is insanely accurate with her reviews. Her tutorials are awesome as well, using both high end and drug store makeup. So incredibly relateable, I legitimately feel like she is a close friend of mine and get a wee bit excited when I see she's uploaded a new video. Am I a bit weird? Correct.

#Creeper

Sooooooo I hope y'all enjoyed my little Youtube rant. Seriously the BEST place to learn all about makeup and beauty.  Type in any question and it shall be answered by these beauty gods (goddesses?)

I actually subscribe to heaps and heaps of girls that are great but these ones have a special place in my heart. I might do another post soon maybe listing everyone I subscribe to. Then again.. I might not.

Until next time..
